Grant made ministry and evangelism his life and reaped God's harvest by the power of the Holy Spirit. He became an Assembly of God minister, an evangelist, a church planter and an author. He published a highly successful magazine, The Voice of Deliverance, and headed a group of committed congregations called International Deliverance Churches. In Dallas, Texas, the church he planted, Soul's Harbor Church, had grown to 2,500 souls. Walter Vinson Grant died on February 12, 1983, at the age of 69 years.
