Retail Books May Be Cost Effective
Retail Christian stores should have his titles also, or be able to order his works, which will save on shipping charges but instead will incur the cost of gasoline to-and-from the store. Since the standard amazon shipping rate is $3.99 per book, buying online may, or may not be the lower way to purchase books.
FREE Online
Spurgeon's works are in public domain and available on the internet for free in multiple formats. One site is The Spurgeon Archive, SermonAudio.com offers his sermons in audio format for listening. For many many more sites use the search words Spurgeon Sermons.
The Advantage of printed books or ebooks in certain situations is that Spurgeons works may then be taken to class, group studies, and discussion groups. Another advantage as can be seen by the titles above is that for a reasonable price the works are grouped together by subject, i.e. Holy Spirit, Repentance, Conversion, etc.
