Book Reviews
At one level the ultimate conclusion of a book’s value is based upon the successful completion of its goal and thus the starting point will be to know what that is.  The publisher in its Quick Review tells us the following:

Publisher Summary
Based on careful biblical study and years of experience making disciples in the local church, Bobby Harrington and Alex Absalom have identified five key relationships where discipleship happens in our lives. In each relational context we need to understand how discipleship occurs and we need to set appropriate expectations for each context.

My Summary: Does the Book Fulfill Its Purpose?
1. The concepts and recommendations for discipling by the authors center around the local Church.
2. Harrington and Absalom are clear that discipleship is about both the disciple being discipled at the same time that the disciple discipling others.
3. The authors clearly demonstrate the five levels of discipleship and how the ministry of discipleship is lived out in relational groups of five different sizes, and that all five levels are essential and not individually exclusive.
4. Appropriate language and purposes of each size group’s relational connection  are very well explained with the authors’ conclusions are well thought out and logical.

My Summary: Personal Conclusions

I enjoyed reading Discipleship that Fits and was inspired to use what I have learned.  The book is practical and useful.  I wholeheartedly recommend this book.
