An excellent book that addresses normal fears young children have: being awake in the dark at night, going to school for the first time or to a new school, talking about yourself in front of others, playground problems, making friends, and being accepted by others. I recommend this book.
Here is one of my favorite sentences in the book.... wish I could show you the picture!
And I've got big feet," he said, and then blurted out, "and...they're great for running fast."
